Dear USTEAA (USA) Scholarship Committee,
Greetings!
I was very happy when I learned that I am one of the beneficiaries of the USTEAA
(USA) Scholarship Grant. And so, I am writing to express my deepest appreciation
for your generous financial support towards my 5-year college education.
I am currently enrolled as a freshman student of the University of Santo Tomas
(UST) Faculty of Engineering. Learning about this scholarship grant during my first
semester, I immediately called my mother to inform her about it. We helped each
other in order to meet the requirements of this grant. My mother took care of some of
the papers needed and I took care of my studies. Because of this, I became a Dean’s
Lister of the 1st semester. Indeed, I pushed myself to study very hard in order to prove
my worthiness as a recipient of this prestigious grant. This scholarship was one of
my inspirations for me to strive harder because I really want to help my family,
especially my mother, to financially support my college education.
Around the last week of January 2015 was one of the happiest days of my life. God
granted my wish that I have been praying for, since the day I submitted all the
requirements. The organization has recognized my skills and hard work. Thus, this
scholarship grant will be a big help to achieve my goals as a Thomasian engineering
student.
I am very thankful to this organization for giving me the hope and support to finish my
studies to become a licensed engineer. Also, thanks to you, I will be able to make my
parents and my community proud of me.
This letter may not be sufficient to express my unending gratitude to this
organization. Rest assured that I will not waste this opportunity. I am determined to
finish my studies to have a brighter future. I will try to be the best student that I can
be. Also, I pledge that after I graduate, I will give back to the community by helping
others to achieve their dreams as you have helped me.
May God pour abundant blessings unto everyone who comprises the USTEAA
(USA).
Godspeed,
Ivan Joseph O. Madlangbayan

Dear Ms. Cita Tibay,
Christian Greetings.
I am very glad to confirm that I have been informed this morning by Ms.
Evangeline Deleña that I was one of those who were chosen to receive the scholarship grant
from USTEAA (UST Engineering Alumni Association). Moreover, I would like to express my
heartfelt acceptance of this scholarship which has been granted to me.
This letter is also to certify that I am not a recipient of any scholarship grant and that I am
aware of the requirements specified under sections 9 and 12 of the MOA.
In view of this very good news, I and my family would like to extend our sincere gratitude for
considering my scholarship application.
Rest assured that I shall not waste this precious opportunity.
Thank you very much
Sincerely yours,
